thats the actual question.... does it seem to be that the teacher is asking for, in your opinion (because I want a second opinion), what defined the way of life (what was its norm/culture) during the 1950s? which I am responding with a decent paragraph summarizing the above aspects ........

Hey, another thing you could talk about could be the Cold War, and desire for Americans to supersede the USSR in any way.
