why are electrical impulses produced by our nerve cell ?
im curious to see explanation for this.
The nerve impulses are generated by the nerve cells so as to instruct the muscles and various glands to perform suitable action to respond to a stimuli. The muscles contain a special protein which changes its arrangement when stimulated by an electrical impulse and therefore performs actions . That is why electrical impulses are generated by a nerve cell.
@priths please can you say me in detail. For example if you ask me how electricity is generated I say it is by generators in which mechanical energy is converted into electricity which works on the principle of magnetic induction. can you please say in this passion. To say my straight question how the cells are capable of producing electricity. what process is happening behind it.
Basically , the electrical impulse comes from the receptors to the nerve cells. So, if any stimulus takes place ,the energy provided by that stimulus sets off a chemical reaction in the receptors which converts the energy given by the stimulus into electrical impulses. This is then transferred to the nerve impulse
thanks,.
