i am thinking it is d because Kennedy was in presidency when the Cuban Missle
Crisis and 9/11 happened and a hole bunch of other tragedies.

Kennedy proposed a bill in 1963 for desegregation of public places such as schools. but he was then killed. So, actually this bill didn't pass till 1964, when Johnson was president. So, I am not sure if A is correct after all ?
