In a geometrical figure do you have to name it clockwise?

You can name it as you like it. But here's one interesting thing about closed figures around the cartesian plane. The positive direction for spin is anti-clockwise. Thus, anti-clockwise is a more preferred order. But you can do it eitherway. I hope it was useful.
Well usually we do it clockwise ,there is no strict rule I guess.Personally I use the clockwise naming though
