Regarding optics- What are the phenomenons associated with wave and particle nature of light ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

In case of particle nature we have the photoelectric emission of light (which generates photo current and in case of wave nature we have the black body radiation and the phenomenon of diffraction and interference.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The Compton effect can only be explained using the particle theory

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Normally interferrence is observed in regards to wave nature of light.Particle nature is observed in diffration phenomenon but answer depends much on energy of photons(momentum) or wavelength of light in comparison to dimensions of object enountering the light.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the wave nature of light can be observed in phenomenas like diffraction and interference whereas the particle nature of light can be observed in phenomena of the photoelectric
