the formula of lateral surface area n total surface area of a cuboid is all u need to knw

Directrix (directrix):

The lateral area of the right rectangular prism can be found my multiplying the perimeter of the rectangular base by the height of the prism. That translates to: LA = ph where p = (14 + 14 + 7 + 7) and h = 1.66 Don't forget that area is expresssed in square units; in this case, square cm.

Directrix (directrix):

To get the Total Area, find the area of the "top" and "bottom" of the prism. Recall that the word "lateral" means "side" so the two congruent top and bottom rectangular areas must be added to the lateral area to get the total area. TA = LA + 2B where LA is the lateral area you calculated above and 2B is two times the area of the rectangular base. The area of the rectangular base, in this instance, is 14*7. TA = LA + 2 * (14*7) Post what you get for LA and TA. Please check my work as you go through the problem. @vivianrush
