mean gas are more disorder than the liquid therefore the entropy of gas is higher than the liquid similarly entropy of liquid is higher than the solid

at the time of working scientists found in some process the term Q/T almost remained constant and they named it entropy which nothing but degree of disorder and here T is in kelvin
