When a battery run out of power, it means Choose one answer. a. All electrolyte material is used up b. All anode material is used up c. Materials in both anode and cathode are used up d. The liquid inside the battery dried up. e. All cathode material is used up
what do u think
let me tell you what I was thinking
yes please tell
:D
LOL:) @summer you could have given him to think !!!
first d is wrong then c is also wrong at first I thought it would be either cathode OR anode material being used up if so, a is the answer but then I wad confused and questioned about if only the anode would be used up
at anode what reaction takes place in a battery
ah. and at first my thoughts are in any redox but then I am not sure if I should specify on battery well the question asks for battery right?
by the way may I know if you have any answer in mind?
b. All anode material is used up as oxidation takes place here !!!the metal will come into the ions in solution and deposit on cathode !!!! but cathode remains the same ur right @cecily
@summer you got confused i think anyway this is how we learn :)
i respect
what
i know u r expert at chem and I respect, that's all :)
oh oh thanks so much @chmvijay may I ask if the question is asking for any chemical cell what the answer would be??
