It would be helpful to know what theorems you have already had and can therefore use. Have you had the theorem that says "if two parallel lines are cut by a transversal, the alternate interior angles are congruent"?

Angles 3 and 7 are congruent because they are equal to the same angle Angles 3 and 7 are corresponding angles Therefore, if two parallel lines are cut by a transversal, the corresponding angles are congruent.
