How many molecules of eukaryotic DNA make up a chromosome in humans?

thomaster (thomaster):

Human DNA is divided into 23 paired chromosomes, 22 pairs of autosomes and 1 pair of sex chromosomes. Therefore, there are 46 molecules of DNA in each human cell. Each chromosome contains one DNA molecule. The DNA molecule is made of two chains of nucleotides linked by hydrogen bonds and twisted around each other to form a double helix structure.

Actually, the answer is just 1. Since, the apparent key word was 'a' as in just a chromosome, thus my teacher thinks we're delirious. Thank You, though all you said was correct.

thomaster (thomaster):

lol i just said the answer was 1 xD Didn't you understand that from my previous answer? :P "Each chromosome contains one DNA molecule"
