HELP! Pci below I GIVE MEDALS:) the front of a metal shed needs to be spray painted. One can of spray paint will cover 20ft^2. If the 8ftX8ft square door is not painted, then how many cans of spray pain will you need to buy

To do the rectangular area its (16*10) - (8*8) If you want to do the roof triangle, then you have to figure out how high the peak is (h) and then add 1/2*16*h Divide that number by 20, and that's how many cans of paint you'll need.

ok for the rectangular I got 96 and for the triangle I got 8 now do I add them then divde by 20

I get 5.2, but since you can't buy half a spray can of paint, I'd guess you'd need to buy 6 cans.
