What are the differences between democratic court and feudal court?

OpenStudy (wach):

Feudal court considers the opinion/ruling of the monarch as the most important, and the decision is basically dependent on one person. In a democratic court, power is divided upon a group of people who must take things totally into consideration. So basically, division of power.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so in a feudal court, the monarch has absolute power and in a democratic system the people get to decide?

OpenStudy (wach):

Essentially, yes.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

including the smaller feudal sytems w/ lords and vassals? and thank you

OpenStudy (wach):

I believe that in the feudal system, lords/vassals also act as supreme judges within their own realms, though the king has absolute power .. so yes.
