Can someone please help me edit my litterary analysis essay for my english class? In order to graduate I have to get at least a B on this essay

OpenStudy (anonymous):

depending on lenght and topic I can help. I dont have too much time so I dont wanan hurt vs help but let me know . hopefully familiar with the topic!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its a comparison between relevant themes present in twelfth night and shes the man.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i have never seen twelfth night but if your comparing them should be simple enough (philosophy emphasis= analytical fein lol) i dont mind taking a look .... i believe i can help you. if i dont think i can ill let u know after i read thru

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Here is what I have so far

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok will read over in 5 minutes!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the assignment was simply ot compare the themes fo the two? or is there more? just so i have a focus while reading

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OH omg sorry the twleth night...i must sound so dumb to you, yes i am familiar haha.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its been a few years:) reading it now

OpenStudy (anonymous):

shes the man was based of twelfth night. I was asked to identify and explain 3 themes relevant in both

OpenStudy (anonymous):

great structure; i completeely understand what you are covneying and the points being made but....ill take 20 min if you would like to edit grammar and wording so that you can bump your gradefor college!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i knwo it was i wasnt being mindful.... its very classic:)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if you could that would be wonderful("

OpenStudy (anonymous):

doy ou mind if i change the term gender uncertainty to socially constructed gender roles or siimply gender norm. they both refer to the social or cultural development of how each specific gender shoudl be

OpenStudy (anonymous):

gender uncertainty, not to instult you to analyse your writing like a teacher or a critic essentially would, does not express a clear grasp (although I completely understand ur message)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

anything you think may sound better feel free to change, i need all the help i can get

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok im gonna actually try and work on it with effort so im doing this and history which i just hate hence the porcrastination

OpenStudy (anonymous):

give me a solid 25 minutes (dw im not dipping w out word) and ill see what i can do best in that time/ ill let u knwo what to fix

OpenStudy (anonymous):

alright thats fine.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok im sending u the intro i re wrote in a couple but to be clear --- your overall point "thesis" is that shes the man is a modern spin on twelfth night

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and your backing that up by portraying those three themes of love, gender roles and madness

OpenStudy (anonymous):

correct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

giving u a job: send me a quote s just generally relating to the overall paper, to maek a powerful introduction

OpenStudy (anonymous):

whar kind of quote? from the book?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

She’s the Man, a film released in 2006 staring the perky actress Amanda Bynes, is a modern spin on Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night, as it is MODELED(use synonym) on the prevalent foundations and themes of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night. The three most prevalent themes that both pieces of art posses are gender-bending, true loves bittersweet nature, and madness.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

any kind to open with that will draw the reader in

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you may want to throw in a sentence or two summarizing each bevfore the thesis and avenues

OpenStudy (anonymous):

gender- bending = defying societys gender norms SUCH AS pretending to be a boy just because society did not deem it "norm" to play wiht the boys even tho she was on their level

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so she bent that gender nrom

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and love, nin general IS sufferning and pain as well as bliss so you can expand upon the notion of love and compare etc within ur bodies but you dont need to dig to deep into explaining it during the intro

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i hope im helping oyu im sorry i just realized i ahd to get something finished for otmorrow so im pretty distracted

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I love what you suggested. that sounds great

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok cool i will keep looking periodically just dont want you to be expecting ya know a re written paper in 20 min

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ill give you suggestions further in a few

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do u want to see an example paper of literary analysis? i know some people dont have experience so how could they know what to target... an analytical response paper in english tends to flow concisely, critically examined examples backing up just a few points.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no ive got a pretty good idea on what to do just needed some help especially to get s good grade to esrn the credit. Have you made any changes to the paper itself. i guess im just having a hard time following allong. this is all new tome

OpenStudy (anonymous):

tip : theme doesnt correlate to concept so mch ...try using the tthaurus if you dont wanne be repetitive or something..... such as gender bending is a prevalent theme, perhaps the most prevalent, within each piece

OpenStudy (anonymous):

versus your first sentence of the intro ...i coudl expand that sentence a little but i was typing a quick example

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i understand completely... im doing liek 4 things aat once so i wanna help so bad bc ive been in this boat its just gotta be slow

OpenStudy (anonymous):

would you be able to mae corrections to my orriginsl an send it to me. i have to turn in tomorrow am first thing. just nervous bc its crunch time and really need to pass

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh damn i was just gonna ask if its due tomorrow ahah

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i udnerstand i ahve literally been in this position but if u want it to go faster then im gonna look over it again and also make corrections but give u " assignments"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

bc i havent watched or analzyed either in years...whats grade r u in / hs?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ill do the one on gender as best i can w the knowledge i have and the time i can give and then ill see if you can try the next theme yourself and u can send it back to me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

start by bulleting for yourself or listing the eamples ur usign for theme of lvove - then jot down the thoughts and analysis you see in those examples from the source and then note what connections come to u

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it willb e more clear that way, then if you dont feel confident rewriting it, i can do it i dont mind i haev a way with words, they say;), but if you did that for all 3 of them then we could get htis does much more efficiently

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the one i really wasnt satisfied with was infact the gender one so if you coulf make that one stronger that would be great

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i definitely will it doesnt flow, factually not judgmentally :), but do you seee what im saying..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

simply say to yourself LOVE: then list how the theme is portrayed for each source then 2. critically think about each axample, whatever u perceive it as is an analysis 3. note connections then send me ur main context and ill simply put it into a flowing paragraph

OpenStudy (anonymous):

bc i dont write quickly and i am doing an assignment as well as an art assignmetn :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

http://www.nvcc.edu/home/ataormina/eng256/support/litcompare.htm#outline read this it will seriously clarify what i am suggesting ..... its the most clarifyng source for literary analysis essays ive ever read actually

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah i was trying to hurry to get it done to just have somethuing to turn in tomorrow. i can revise for a better grade. i can turn in what i have tomorrrow then turn in a revised copy later therefore you can get what you need to done and not have to rush

OpenStudy (anonymous):

dont be nervous, u are where u are you cant go backwards and if you worry abou thte future and not succeeding you will only hurt yourself by not be your most efficient self right here right now....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh i c thats awesome then , look at teh website i sent you, the outline is so clear you might simply be able to fill it in with your own paper and send it backt o me and i can quickly rewrite

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i just have to dig through ur paper to understand certain examples etc bc i dont ahve the facts in my head on this

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then tomorrow we can actually ball out ur paper

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you ahve ur intro so ur paper is organized already in your mind now fill out a brief simple outline wiht the facts u already wrote and send it back to me (the style from that website) and it will be quicker for me to edit ur rough draft-- thats my point ha

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that sounds great, ive been a little stressed about it and havent really been focused on it. do you mind if i get it back to you tomorrow? i have a seminar in class tomorrow in which i have to prepare for . i appreciate all the help so far

OpenStudy (anonymous):

seriously, it takes one to know so theres a reason im helping you try and stop ur stress before it hurts u:) i do not mind! if u edit it more tonight or if i do send it visa verse...ill message u

OpenStudy (anonymous):

alright thanks again

OpenStudy (anonymous):

not a thing goodluck

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks
