The Game Exchange game rental store charges an annual fee of $9 and $5.25 per game rented. The Fun Box charges an annual fee of $17 plus $2.50 per game. (1) Write an equation for each game rental store. (2) When would each store be the better choice and explain why (3) How would you graph this using a graphing calculator?
so for number 1 the game exchange rental store there is a fee of 9 bucks so that should be your y-int and 5.25 per game is always changing so that is your slope putting in y=mx + b you get y = 5.25x + 9 same for the fun box it will be y=2.50x + 17 for number 2 when each store is the better choice is when both of these lines intersect each other so set those 2 equal to each other 5.25x + 9 = 2.50x + 17 simiplify and you will get x = 2.91 and you can just put those 2 equations in the graphing calc so press table and put in the equations then press graph
Thank you so much c:
