i got letter D
since the equation is would be 12 1/3 = 7 2/3
you would subtract 7 2/3 from each side and you would get the average is 4 2/3
and since it says is more then you would subtract in this case

x + 7 2/3 = 12 1/3

In order to solve for the variable, 7 2/3 must be subtracted from both sides of the equation.
and you get 4 2/3
