Locus of Points?? I don't understand it! 1. Describe the locus of all points in a plane that are 9 cm from point M. A) circle M with a radius of 18 cm B) circle M with a radius of 9 cm C) square with 9 cm sides D) square with 18 cm sides 2. Describe the locus of all points that are 3 cm from line M. A) a line, 3 cm from line m B) a pair of parallel lines, each parallel to and 3 cm from line m C) a sphere with a radius of 3 cm d) a circle with a diameter of 6 cm I got answer B for question one and C for question 2. Are those correct? Thank you to anyone who can help :)

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

no

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

here is some line M |dw:1365552738342:dw|

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

now here is one point that's 3 cm from line M on the upper side of the line |dw:1365552773973:dw|

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

here is another point that's 3 cm from M on the upper side |dw:1365552802310:dw|
