Intro paragraphs are easier than thesis statements because they can be less formal.  For an introduction you can start with a story or feeling or almost anything, even a crazy rant from brianna there.  

   On the internet, gun control debates often come down to "guns dont kill ppl. crazy ppl with gun kill ppl. today a bunch of ppl n texas was killed from stabbing. so whats next, a knife ban? no lol idts," but these kinds of statements are seldom insightful or useful.  The issues of gun control are both more complicated and more simple than such simpleminded blather might lead one to believe.
