Can someone please help me with my English homework? It's to write a introduction paragraph to my upcoming essay. I have to include a very effective thesis for my intro paragraph. The essay question is Why do we read? & it's reading in general not just books.

Someone had should at least read once in their life, have you?
It wouldn't matter if it's a menu when you go out tto eat or even a sign that you get concept from in order to drive. I think we all read cause' it makes are skills increase and makes use a lot smarter than others if you read a lot. Reading is a good thing to know how to do and use cause' if not then we wouldn't be able to pass our drivers ed class or even be able to order you something to eat. So we all read everyday, heck your readingg right now.

Now, corresponding to your title "Why do we read?", one may question to him/herself as to what is the importance of reading. Well, look over the mediums. Reading as media, to be educated, reading as a forte, reading to write, reading to learn, reading to past the time... Think of all the kinds of writings that exist.

Importance and evolution of literature from a theosophical aspect holds importance, and the key is: to understand, to comprehend and suspension of disbelief.

@nee5277 has to write that stuff on their own, right? I won't give them a structure and spoil their skill. Best I can do is give subtle hints, or at least build a decent structure for them to put out what only they can. Writing a report, a paragraph, even a sentence has some hint of you in it. "Thought is more unique than a DNA" as I put it.
