No biggie, I know what you mean. I just really recommend you learn this, because if you don't get the basics math is gonna be even more difficult.

Anyways, you could also try this fraction calculator. If you have a negative fraction like -5/9, make you to put -5 as numerator, and leave the denominator as a positive 9.

Oh and remember to change the sign to what you need, in this case its +, but you can subtract divide and multiply fractions on it. It simplifies it for you.
