Do autodesk experts study web design languages, like CSS, as well ? What are their choices for study? What exactly is AutoDesk, and it's role in educating students ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I learned very little CSS back in high school but since then have never used it :P If we have to use software for coding typically it is to code optimization studies like in Matlab. Autodesk is a software company used for many things. Companies use Autodesk to design their products such as cars or bridges or buildings, and then there is also a multimedia area for them, which they have software that was used to make the movie UP or Avatar, if you saw either of those. Its really amazing all the different software packages they have. Here is a link to most of their software titles and then it gives a description of them :) http://students.autodesk.com/?nd=download_center I mainly use Autodesk Inventor which is design and optimization software, I use that in transmission design :)

Of course, we learn! For example I'm learning HTML and CSS, and I try to use some CSS framework like Twitter Bootstrap, because my bachelor's work it the to create "information system" (simply: web-site, my teachers like high-profile names;) about Autodesk PLM 360, and I will try do my website best : )

Of course, first line is - CAD software and all around it: BIM, PLM and etc.. But you do not have enough fingers to count all spheres of Autodesk software ; )
