anyone wanna help :/ a trumpet player is perforning in a 2-hour concert. she has practiced for 10 hours so far and plans to practice for 1.5 hours each day. She wants to practice at least 40 hours before the concert. Write and solve an inequality to represent the number of days she must practice

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The inequality is 1.5d + 10 > or equal to sign 40 I think. Let d represent the number of days she practiced. Subtract 10 from both sides, both 10's cross out each other and 40 - 10 = 30. Divide both sides by 1.5, 30 divided by 1.5 is 20, so the trumpet player will practice greater than or equal to 20 days

≥ is the sign
