Who is able to solve this question. Open cones are made from nets cut from a large sheet of paper 1.2m x 1.0m. If a cone has a radius of 6cm and a slant height of 10cm, how many cones can be made from the sheet? (Assume there is negligible wastage of paper.)

OpenStudy (amistre64):

you will need to determine the larger circle that the cone is made from:|dw:1365598904200:dw| well, the larger circle that makes the cone has an area of pi (slant height)^2 how many of those can you cut from the sheet?

I didn't get what you were saying. Could you please explain it to me in another way?
