WW1 was considered as a total massive war ever because mostly Germany, Austria, Britain, France, Russia, Serbia and Belgium were all pulled in. Many soldiers died many who have lived suffer from shell shocks. Many changes occured in Britain women have to independent to work and take care of their childrens. German naval bombardment of coastal British towns, and air raids over London. When the war ended, Britain was constructing a heavy bomber force that they were planning to use to attack German cities. The British naval blockade, which had the intention of starving Germany into surrender. 760,000 German civilians died during WW1.
