(calc 2) find out whether the sum from n=1 to infinity of ln((n+1)/(n+3)) converges or diverges. using wolfram I found that it diverges due to the comparison test(which I suspected). however I can't figure out what to compare it to in order to prove this.

I have not although I really thought it would be easier to solve it via comparison test and integrating the ln((n+1)/(n+3)) looks pretty nasty.

well, wolfram alpha could help you with that lol. To be honest I just popped in an answer - I'm in the same part that you are in in calc 2, and I haven't actually read through the material deeply.
