the price of gasoline at a particular station is 1.5 euros per liter. An american student can use 33 euros to buy gasoline. knowing that 4 quarts make a gallon ant that 1 liter is close to 1 quart, she quickly reasons that she can buy how many gallons ofof gasoline?

Let's start with how many litres one can buy with 33 euros if it 1.5 euros for a litre. 33 divided by 1.5 is the first step.

Well if we have 22 litres and we know that there is 4 litres in each gallon, how do we calculate that? 2 gallons would be 8 litres, 3 gallons would be 12 litres. etc.
