A certain type of Swiss chocolate comes in a package that's the shape of a triangular prism. If the perimeter of one of the triangular bases is 16 centimeters, what is the surface area of the entire package? A triangular prism is shown. The triangular base has base six centimeters and height four centimeters. The height of the prism is fourteen centimeters. 164 cm2 224 cm2 248 cm2 272 cm2 @electrokid
for this question i got 164 at first but then i realized i did it wrong. when i used the formula is 2bh + (base perimeter)(prism height) or 2(6 x 4) + (16)(14) which got me 272. is that right?

there are "3" rectangular faces and "2" triangular bases
@alysssaah7 the question atlks about a diagram.. you'd have to provide that. cannot shoot darts in the dark
so you use the formula \[2bh + (base.perimeter)(prism.height)\]
