graph the line slope =-6 and y-intercept (0,8)

|dw:1365612053387:dw|

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So it will cross the -6x and 0,8?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it crossed the y axis at 0,8 however the slope, -, is just the gradient , it is not where it touches the axis.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so I need to figure where it crosses the axis?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(-6,1)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so it will cross where y=0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the two pints on the graph should be (-6,1) and (0,8)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

points*

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hmm werll (-6,1) would not be touching the x-axis. sorry I do not know.
