Are these sentences correct? 1. Los muebles en mi sala de estar es agradable. 2. Puedo poner un silla rosa en mi habitación. 3. Tuve que encender el lavavajillas para lavar los platos. 4. Necesito una alfombra rosa en mi habitación 5. Tuve que encender el horno para hornear galletas. 6. Puse una pequeña mesa en mi sala de ordenadores. 7. Tuve que apagar el fregadero a lavar los platos. 8. Me encanta el sillón de mi habitación.

1. The subject is "Los muebles", and it's plural so the verb must be in plural too, and the same with the adjective : Los muebles de mi sala de estar son agradables 2. Silla is femenine, so the article is una 3. Perfect 4. Perfect 5. Perfect 6. Sala de ordenadores? In plural? If you want to say it in singular is : Sala del ordenador 7. What do you want to say in this sentence? 8. Perfect

Turn on? So it isn't apagar. But in spanish you can't "encender" a fregadero. (You can "encender la televisión", "encender el ordenador" ... but in the sink you don't have to push a button to turn on. I'd say: Abrir el grifo..
