What are the mean, variance, and standard deviation of these values? Round to the nearest tenth. 11, 11, 3, 1, 11, 11

This should be helpful :) http://www.mathsisfun.com/data/standard-deviation.html

-_- I know the mean and standard deviation and I'm just confused with the variance..

Variance is how much does your number varry from the mean value, so let us see... For your numbers the mean is 8 So you want to take each number and see how far away from 8 is it. so our first number we would do 11-8, so it is 3 away. The overall variance will be V^2=(d1^2+d2^2+....d6^2)/n So you d's are the difference, d1=3 ect. n is the number of samples, you have 6. so put n=6, plug in those values and solve for V :)
