5x+2y=30

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What are you trying to find?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how to slove and find the slope

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i just get confused on how to start

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No worries, so then we have 5x+2y=30 let us first get y by itself on one side 5x+2y=30 subtract 5x 2y=30-5x divide by 2 y=15-(5/2)x does that get you on the right track?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so you just put x on the other side which made it a negative

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yep :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok then when you divide it would be by 2 with 15?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well it will be 30/2 which comes out to 15. Then your slope in the value in front of x.
