How do u graph y=3/5x-4, using slope and y-intercept

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do u know tht 3/5 is the slope and -4 is the y-intercept?? @Rosierose33

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know u graph the -4 first and then go up three but after that do I go to the right five spaces or the left? That part always confuses me. Can anyone help me with that?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You go to the right because it's a positive number. If it were a negative number than you would go left. Get it??

That makes sense thank you
