We have got so many requests, and we greatly appreciate your support through all this while. Unfortunately, we received too many requests, and we weren't able to handle all of them at the speed we intended to.
We were getting slower and slower, and were unable to fulfill all the requests are the speed urged by our requesters.

What settled this was the fact that @aripotta left our team.

Thank you so much, @aripotta for everything you've contributed, and I'm sorry for what caused you to leave. Thank you again, for all the work you've done, you were the best graphic designer in our team.

And thank you, @snuggielad, for your amazing designs and contributions.

And all the requested owls that weren't completed will be done so, within the next 96 hours.

However, the online generator will continue to operate at http://www.dumbsearch.com/openstudyprofiles . Though no more custom requests will be fulfilled.

What really settled it was that @SWAG was mad that we created our own company, and people here was making competitors, and who-owns-this-company nonsense; it was getting spiteful and ugly, not worth it all. The original intention was for fun, and it got really ruined.

& about the conflict ! Why don't you cooperate with each other and open only one company for that ?

Its hard to regroup one company, @eyad.
We tried with @swag. It failed miserable, he wanted more ownership of the joint and wasn't helping us.

I think it is ok dumb. It is a time consuming activity, you and your friends have made a lot avatars and the best ones too (mine :) ). You've provided your valuable time for this work which is sufficient. Though if others want to get one also they can also use the generator made by you.

It will be good though if you or your friends whenever get time , make avatars .. . Just do this is leisure time . I think that will be fine also! It's your choice though. I understand your problems .

Swag was making problems, he was getting mad that we made an avatar company too, so he said that he would finally join our "create-an-owl" custom design team (he seemed very reluncent, we kept offering). As it turned out he didn't help us at all, he merely got the credit.

I felt conflicted; after all, SWAG had started the idea of making avatars... maybe we should just shut ours down...

Later today, amber tried to make her own, with the same title has ours; purely out of spite, because we had rejected her as part of our team. I tried all I could to stop her company; she was trying to deter our customers. She had no previous graphic design experience, just purely out of spite. Maybe I was too harsh, maybe I should have just let her thing run in unison and be competitors, maybe hers would have just died out.

Then we started hearing complainants from our customers that we weren't delivering fast enough, after a couple hours after their requests. We were spending time, dealing with this nonsense, but at the same time we were getting more and more requests, stacking up! And Aripotta had stopped contributing as much.

And regarding @AriPotta , he's encountering personal issues and had to quit being part of the "Create-an-Owl" team. He was the one who designed almost all of your picture, @mathslover (why don't you set it as your profile pic ? Oh, yes, I remember, you want to use it when you reach 99 SS).

SnuggieLad was an amazing contributor, but him and me alone would not be enough. + he was trying to become an admin of the company.

Besides, it was taking so much of my time.
It was just too much hassle to deal with all of this!

As things turned out it caused more strife then it did happiness, and the whole point of this project was to lighten up OpenStudy a bit.

I started *this* specific product, "create-an-owl". Thus, I retain full right to be the one finishing the requests. All the requests were gathered from my spreadsheet. I will be the one finishing the spreadsheet, thank you!

I'm considering re-starting the project with @Compassionate 's help, but the only purpose of this post is to explain that we cannot continue submissions at this point of time.

It will take a little while to finish off the current submissions and gather a new team.

Weather you know it or not i did actually create this fad. This was not your idea. I created Owlfred Butler Jr.s picture as a request from mrs preetha. someone stole that and others wanted them. That being said It was my creation that got the ball rolling. End of story.
I claim all rights to this wether you like it or not. you are welcome to help as i did in fact create the first one though you created the first thread about it.


This email is false. He is claiming rights to something he did not come up with. He may have "thought" of it but I have done this several times a few months ago, this is the 1st time I just decide to do it for people. Not to mention no one stole the idea, I don't even know who owlfred butler jr is! This really frustrates me.

this is so immature; one of the main reasons i left, aside from me being severely depressed. there is so much drama surround this, it's disgusting. who cares who came up with the idea. we should be making these owls for fun, not for profit or credit.

i wanted to make people happy and i loved creating them. that's why i joined. but then i lost the joy in making them. you guys seem to have no love for this. if you did, it wouldn't have fallen to crap.

My point^ I created this to have fun and have people support OS! Not to make it into a company and crap like that! People are like pushing me to do all these things but all I wanted was to make owls & Snuggie you never said that. You are the one that made this a fuss.
