how does pollution get into the food chain?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Pollution poisons the animals and plants that when plants cant produce food herbivores cant eat anything and deers start dying then the omnivores also cant eat and meat eaters get less deers and etc. the wholefood chain breaks down. although there is other ways that the meat eaters get to eat other animals mostly herbivores are mostly affected.

AS THE POLLUTIONS ARE CREATED THEY CERTAINLY SPREAD OVER THE WHOLE ENVIRONMENT THESE THEN PASSES OVER THE PLANTS THEN TO THE HERBIVORES AND THEN TO CARNIVORES AND OMNIVORES.MORE SPECIFICALLY WE CAN SAY THE FOO BECOMES POISONOUS.
