What was the first armed conflict of the Cold War? a.the Berlin Blockade b.the Cuban Missile Crisis c.the Korean War d.the Hungarian Uprising

I'd say it was (C) the Korean War. That actually exploded into a full on conflict. (A) doesn't make sense since is was a blockade and the US and its allies managed to resupply the blockaded half of Berlin by airlifts. The Soviets and the West didn't start shooting there. The Cuban Missile Crisis also happened many years after the Korean War. And the Hungarian Uprising saw the Soviets moving in to help crush a revolt against the pro-Communist regime, but that also took place after the Korean War.
