Find the ordered pair. y=-2x+8 (0,_). I think the answer here is 8 but I am not sure. Could someone please help!

people always write (x,y) in that order. (0, ...) means the x is 0 and they want to know the y

you start with
y= -2x +8

replace the x with zero:
y = -2 * 0 + 8

now get a calculator or do the arithmetic by hand. either way, you get y=8
