Help on parametric equation. Just need to eliminate it. x = 2cos(theta), y = 1 + sin(theta) this would prolly be in x^2 + y^2 = 1 but I dunno how.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x=2cos(theta) => cos(theta)=... y=1+sin(theta) => sin(theta)=... Now use the familiar identity: (cos(theta))^2+(sin(theta))^2=1 to arrive at the answer.

ok cool. thanks.
