I think there needs to be a filter for swear words in usernames because there are people with REALLY gross usernames (generally are spammers)

I am tired of (mainly spammers) making new accounts with inappropriate names because its against the CoC and its really gross. If people want to be on here, they might as well be respectful

@KeganMoore It is peaceful, but there just couple of trolls that need to be banned. I find people in this site nice and helpful better than wikianswers and yahoo answers.

For sure, i just wish people didn't have ways around said filters, they misspell them purposefully to avoid them.
What if new members were given a guest name until the username was checked?

Alright, here is my idea FOR NOW.

Swear filter on usernames. If a user/troll gets past the filter then mods will have to do something about it.
Maybe if a user has an inappropriate username, there could be a new mod tool that suspends them until they change the username.
IP banning might be a bad idea because of schools having multiple students online.
Mods should be alerted whenever someone's chat post gets filtered for swearing.
