Great Gatsby question! "Nick Carraway is readers' guide through the events of The Great Gatsby. In some ways, he is a good guide, and readers benefit from hearing his observations. In others, he is a faulty guide. Analyze the pros and cons of Nick's narration. Cite specific examples from the novel in your response." I realize I'm being lazy... but my attention span doesn't let me read books or novels or anything ._.
I love The Great Gatsby. I hope you give it another shot. Maybe audio books? (The older books are usually free in audio format.) These articles sum it all up fairly well. http://nealabbott.wordpress.com/2012/10/09/the-reliability-of-nick-carraway-part-one-the-naysaying-narrator/ http://quote-companion.com/nick-carraway-quotes-analysis/ There's one quote that you should include above all the others: "I am one of the few honest people that I have ever known" (p. 69). Honest people (which are few and far between) don't go around calling themselves "honest." Sounds shifty, doesn't it? :)
