This server issue is just getting uncontrollable now. With a higher flow of people daily the server needs to have an update.
I agree. It took too long to get in at least 30 minutes.
Mine has crashed at least 9 times today
Im sure they see this problem and there doing everything to fix it. @Preetha
Yeah, mine crashed and doesn't load. I have to keep re-load it to get and or do what I need.
Sometimes that does not even work.
@Darrius seeing and doing are sadly not the same though :/
@Darrius i have even talked to them, they first need to either correctly use an AJAX script or transition the site onto a basic JavaSript
Im so lost^
Lol basically they need to fix what makes the site run
@KeganMoore No. Transitioning to basic JavaScript wouldn't change a thing. Because basically all jQuery is is converting it to basic JavaScipt, it shouldn't slow down stuff much to load the jQuery library. (They're using jQuery, currently.) The AJAXs are used correctly (they use them in jQuery, as I explained, using basic JavaScript would be a pain), but the problem is the whole theory, making this site so script-dependent. I think it shouldn't be so script-dependent. They shouldn't rely on loading everything through AJAX. Now if they want to continue using scripts the way they do, they should at least reduce some of the scripts to less intervals (like wth is the point of checking your smart-score every few milliseconds ???), so everything loads faster. http://www.budgetsavvydiva.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/2cents.gif :P I'm @dumbsearch2 BTW.
@KeganMoore You might find this thread interesting. About a year ago, I asked about the functionality of the OpenStudy site. http://openstudy.com/users/directrix#/updates/4f8da4ffe4b000310faa6f70
Very interesting @directrix
