1) rising sea levels

2) increasing sea temperature changes (which kills of species that like colder water)

3) weather changes (eg: more intense hurricanes)

rising sea levels is a serious threat esp to cities like new orleans since that city is at sea level and some parts are below sea level

either the city will have to build higher levees or the city would have to relocate somewhat

for 2) I think there's a species of coral which is dying off because of the temperature increase, not sure

but I do know that the temperature changes are affecting migration patterns of some species
