how do you prove two triangles have no relationship?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Have you learned about postulates?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea @zhane2015

Directrix (directrix):

Two triangles will always have a relationship if none other than the fact they are polygons with 3 sides. Please post the entire problem as shown in your text or problem source. Thanks.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Provide the ordered pairs for two triangles that have no relationship on the coordinate plane. Explain, using complete sentences, how you know these triangles have no relationship. @Directrix

OpenStudy (anonymous):

did they give you an image?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no they want me to create my own triangles and they tell them how i know they aren't the same

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you think that you could suggest that they could be similar?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no this one specifically asking for no relationship

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well all I can suggest right now is draw like an isosceles and a right triangle and tell them the difference

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hmm that can probably work :) how about this one : for one triangle set i have the coordinates 0,0) (0,5) and (7,0) for one triangle and for the other one do (-6,3) (-1,1) and (-3,-5) hoe do i prove these arent the same

OpenStudy (anonymous):

*how lol what u tryna call me? but let me draw it on paper so i can see

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay

OpenStudy (anonymous):

from what i see, it can work:) say things like: - One is a right triangle - *Tell the measurement of the other triangles angle - Then state the fact that one is a isosceles and the other a right triangle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry if it looks wierd, idk what i was doing

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its okay :) it helped. can you help me with one more problem?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The designers of a skateboard park are building a ramp and need a scaled-down model of one of their ramps. The side view of the actual ramp, labeled JKL, and the side view of the model, labeled PQR, is shown below. What would be the coordinates of a new point R that will make the model version of the ramp similar to the actual ramp? Explain your reasoning using complete sentences.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know this is late as heck but I can't help on that one if you still needed help.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks but i got it :)
