I think open study should do something for charity.I visited a hospital as a volunteer and realized how children were really sick and they needed the money to get treatment but they didn't have families I think we should do something PLEASE POST IF YOU HAVE ANY IDEAS (remember to keep it free)

maybe if we split up into regions, it could work. i know a lot of people on here live in florida (since most go to flvs) and if we could all meet up, we could do something under openstudy's name. idk.

What we can do?

Most of us are living miles away from each other. We can make videos , powerpoints and interactive lessons / funny videos that can be used in weekends in hospitals on the name of OpenStudy for entertaining the patients in hospitals.

Students in hospitals can be shown a brief review about OpenStudy and also some interactive lessons can be taught to them through interactive softwares and devices.

But I think this is just a thought, and it is very very hard for us to implement it. If all of us unite then something can happen . idk whether my idea is possible or not?

First of all Openstudy is a study site ..Most of our users are just young boys and girls coming here for learning purpose .Trying to run a charity movement inside the site might not work -I think. As I pointed out we have different online communities/sites to organize such activities http://www.justgiving.com/ .You can meet tonnes of people interested in charity there . You can also use social media like facebook,twitter to gather your friends .

First of all, dumb : mods do their duties well and so the admins. Mods report /suspend or punish if anything is done wrong by the user, they never play with their duties.

@dumbsearch2 I didn't say that it is not suitable in OS feedback group. I was saying that instead of having a charity group we can include this all in the health sciences group.
