Music Group Rules brought to you by @Shadowfiend and @TuringTest The kinds of things that *are* allowed in this group: - Discussions and questions on musical theory. - Discussions and questions on instruments, instrumentation, composition, songwriting, etc. - Posting your own original work for feedback and criticism (as usual, please be respectful). Do NOT: - Post YouTube videos for other artists. - Post SoundCloud links for other artists. - Post questions about what people's favorite genres are. -Posting of an Artist's name and a song by them, (e.g. a question that contains just -something like "One Direction Kiss You") -Posting song lyrics that are not yours -Poll questions (e.g. "Do you like this song?") Remember, this is still a study site, and we want to have a music group. We're running this experiment to see if this group can be successful; however, if things don't work out, we won't hesitate to delete the group. Thanks, and enjoy!

I thought polls were allowed. I don't mean the "Do you like this song?" kind of polls, which end up turning into eternally long fangirl threads. -.- I'm referring to polls comparing genres, artists, songs etc...
Nope.
Not even for an actual survey?
If it's for an actual survey, then probably yes. Thing is, people can lie about that, when it's actually not.
Good point. :/ Better to say its not.
I'm not sure if poems are allowed in here either. Let's ask @Preetha. :3
That's why this has been posted, @Luis_Rivera
It seems like poems would logically go to the writing topic instead.
@hba would poems be allowed in the music section since lyrics are basically made of peoms and peoms can be considered ballads?
@TuringTest
Poems ARE allowed.
I feel like they shouldn't be. Poems, unless specified they are for a song, should go in a writing area.
