The kinds of things that *are* allowed in this group:
- Discussions and questions on musical theory.
- Discussions and questions on instruments, instrumentation, composition, songwriting, etc.
- Posting your own original work for feedback and criticism (as usual, please be respectful).

Do NOT:
- Post YouTube videos for other artists.
- Post SoundCloud links for other artists.
- Post questions about what people's favorite genres are.
-Posting of an Artist's name and a song by them, (e.g. a question that contains just -something like "One Direction Kiss You")
-Posting song lyrics that are not yours
-Poll questions (e.g. "Do you like this song?")

Remember, this is still a study site, and we want to have a music group. We're running this experiment to see if this group can be successful; however, if things don't work out, we won't hesitate to delete the group.

I thought polls were allowed. 

I don't mean the "Do you like this song?" kind of polls, which end up turning into eternally long fangirl threads. -.-

I'm referring to polls comparing genres, artists, songs etc...

I feel like they shouldn't be.  Poems, unless specified they are for a song, should go in a writing area.
