OpenStudy (christos):

When the output of this circuit will be LOW and Why?? http://screencast.com/t/uNYXVGF8A @AravindG

OpenStudy (aravindg):

what is A and B here? I mean the inputs in figure are A1,A2 ,A3 etc ...?

OpenStudy (christos):

I have no clue, all the info we got are what is being said in the QUIZ :/

OpenStudy (christos):

We have 4 options, a,b,c and d

OpenStudy (aravindg):

Can you identify the gates in the figure?

OpenStudy (christos):

4 XNOR and 1 AND

OpenStudy (christos):

Can you tell me when a XNOR Gate is HIGH?

OpenStudy (aravindg):

yep A HIGH output (1) results if both of the inputs to the gate are the same. If one but not both inputs are HIGH (1), a LOW output (0) results.

OpenStudy (aravindg):

its logic eqn is AB+A'B'

OpenStudy (christos):

And when a XOR gate is HIGH ???? I am confusing XOR with XNOR

OpenStudy (aravindg):

nah its easy for ex or the equation is AB'+A'B

OpenStudy (aravindg):

ie when odd number of inputs are high we get high output for ex or

OpenStudy (aravindg):

if even inputs high then output =1 for ex nor thats all !

OpenStudy (aravindg):

A=B is the answer :)

OpenStudy (aravindg):

gt it ?

OpenStudy (christos):

It was C according to the solution, but you helped me understand why it was C thank you!!
