what advantage do the dandelion seeds have over the pine tree seeds?

They are able to spread around to diverse areas and survive when the seed pops open due to having too much water, which means that it is in a moist area which is necessary for survival.
Pine tree seeds aren't able to move across landscapes very far because no animals pick them up, so they don't move. They also aren't able to find moist land.
