the surface area of a sphere is found using the formula sa=4(3.14)r^2, where r is the radius of the sphere. the surface area of a cube that is the same height and width (2r) as the sphere is 24r^2. what is the ration of the surface area of the sphere to the surface area of the cube?

OpenStudy (phi):

ratio means make a fraction. sphere to cube means the sphere is on top and cube is in the bottom \[ \frac{\text{area of sphere}}{\text{area of cube} } \] they give you the area of the sphere and the area of the cube. can you write them as a fraction ?
