-99x^2-33x ?

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

That's a nice expression. What is to be done?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It needs to be solved

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

No, it doesn't. That would require one of these: "=". Perhaps "factored" or otherwise manipulated? Please include the COMPLETE question and an example of your best efforts.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, sorry it needs to be factored.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[-33x(3x+1)\] i think that is how it will be factored so what i did is find the common factor and took them outside the bracket since both terms had 33x common i took them outside the bracket and saw what should be timed to it to find the question so when you solve this equation the answer should be the question that is \[-99x ^{2}-33x\] hope this helps

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

Find common factors! 33 and x come immediately to mind.

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

so factoriz out the -33x and will get -33x(3x+1) and for you can solve it make equale by zero -33x(3x+1)=0 than now you see that this is equale zero when a term of thses is equal zero so than -33x=0 what mean x_1=0 and 3x+1=0 3x = -1 x_2 = -1/3 hope so much that is understandably yw good luck bye
