Suppose you choose a marble from a bag containing 2 red marbles, 5 white marbles, and 3 blue marbles. You return the first marble to the bag and then choose again. Find P(red and blue).

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what is the probability that the first marble chosen is red?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if that is not clear, let me know you need that number first

OpenStudy (anonymous):

add all the marbles up, so thats 10 then you take red(2) and then blue(3) and i think you add them so it would be 5 so the probability of red and blue would be 5 out of 10. which is \[\frac{ 5 }{ 10 }\]

but i may not be right, i havent done this in a while. sorry if im incorrect

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it is not right

this might help?
