Wrong section, this is biology. I'll answer it anyway. They do not 'store' information. If you learn something like your mothers face, a couple of nerve impulses will repeat over a networks of nerve cells in the brain. Because the same impulse combination repeat over the same nerves, you will remember your mothers face.
