is this a right triangle?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
no isosceles
jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):
can you draw a pic of it? better yet, can you post a screenshot?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
|dw:1365971783057:dw| like that
jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):
ok and you only know one angle, do you know any of the sides?

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):
label any angles or sides you know
OpenStudy (anonymous):
no
jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):
so you just know one angle?
jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):
oh I see what to do nvm, so is the base angle known? or the vertex angle known?

yes the top one is 36, and the other two bottems ones are m
jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):
ok the vertex angle is 36
the base angle is m
all 3 must add to 180
jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):
so
m + m + 36 = 180
jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):
2m + 36 = 180
2m = 180 - 36
2m = 144
m = ??
OpenStudy (anonymous):
exactly

what is m
jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):
well if 2m = 144, then dividing both sides by 2 gives you ????
OpenStudy (anonymous):
ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh thankyouuuuuuuuuuuuu
jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):
so m = ???
